La pression du fluide frigorig\u00e8ne y est r\u00e9duite, ce qui entra\u00eene un refroidissement du fluide frigorig\u00e8ne \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature ambiante. Le fluide frigorig\u00e8ne peut ainsi extraire de la chaleur de l'air ambiant lors du passage suivant.
